The Australian Radio Yachting Association (ARYA) in conjunction with the state associations has made the decision to postpone all events conducted under the overall authority of the ARYA scheduled prior to 30 April 2020.

The ARYA has been monitoring the information made available from the World Health Organisation (WHO), Australian Government Health Department, World Sailing and other sources, and with the hightened level of concern within the radio sailing fraternity they have seen the need to take additional precautions. 

The Radio Sailing Association of WA (RSAWA) & ARYA understand that individuals assess the risk differently and this decision will be disappointing to a few however, they must consider the radio sailing fraternity as a whole and consider the risk to members of all demographics as well as the level of concern that members have in relation to COVID-19.

RSAWA will look to work with the clubs to re-schedule postponed WA events later in the year and will provide an update in due course.
